What follows here are just my thoughts and words. No fact checking, no spell checking, no promises of great insight or good grammar. Just me dumping the words in my head to words on the screen. Bear with me... sometimes it's a bumpy ride.

A Big Slice of Heaven....

This is called a Queen Emma Cake.
Queen Emma Cake from the bottom up: Guava Chiffon Cake, Guava Mousse, Lilikoi (passionfruit) Chiffon Cake, Lilikoi Mousse, White Chiffon Cake, Haupia (coconut flavored) Mousse, White Chiffon Cake, frosted all over with Whipped Topping, topped with Haupia, then decorated with Guava and Lilikoi Gels

In spite of it's height & girth and the never-ending list of tropical delights of which it is made, it is a light and fluffy and oh so delicious, only on Maui, treat.

I even broke my "no thanks, I don't eat desserts" rule, just to taste it.... and ended up eating a pretty hearty slice.  Soooooo ONO!!

We got this to share with some friends (not nearly enough friends... the 1/2 cake you see in first picture is what's left!) to celebrate Michael's birthday.

Just another little temptation of what can await you when you come to Maui.
